The light of candles, she realised, was what she'd been shielding her eyes from Despite the colouration around her, she felt herself shudder when her vision cleared, allowing herself to take in the sight which she now beheld. The mismatched funiture spoke of its' owner's strange taste.
He walked past her and into the cavernous room, decorated with many strange objects she'd never seen before. Weapons of all sorts hung on the walls, glistening in the orange light. His soft and powerful voice beckoned her to follow him, but he didn't turn back towards her.
