The young man grimaced at her words, and ordered her to leave. For she was no longer welcome. But then he thought, Was she ever welcome? A little voice in his head told him otherwise. She snapped her fingers at him and left with his bedcloth around herself.
He read the note over again and thought of his love's instructions. A man of the world did not go about masquerade balls in fancy dress. It was absurd! But he had to see her. He wanted her forgiveness of his sins. He felt that no priest was good enough, and only his angel would salvage him.

As much as I dislike Raoul, I'm starting to cut him some slack. I really did him over in the previous page. I guess I do deserve to be shot.

But is it just me, or does he seem a lot more masculine in this page than most other times he's been seen?

I also discovered I really hate backgrounds.

Revamp soon enough.

No dress, I'm afraid. xD But maybe I will. I already have his costume design laid out, so it's all covered. x3;
